Love is a pure feeling which does not have any barriers. No caste, religion, gender, color or anything else can stop us from loving someone. Unfortunately, the society doesn't think that way and two people who love each other are often forced to stay separately because the society doesn't approve of their relationship.

Same sex lovers have the world against them. People think that people who love another individual from the same gender are mentally sick, but that's not true. Some people have different preferences and God has designed them like that, you are in no way entitled to judge them.
Same gender couples are often forced to let go their love or else are kept apart by the society. While some are strong enough to bear the distance, some end up in a tragic end like the lesbian couple from Indian state of Gujrat.
Two women aged 30 and 28 along with a one of the women's daughter aged 4 committed suicide by jumping into the Sabarmar
Time River. They held the society responsible for this tragic step by scribbling their death note on the parapet wall of the bridge using their red lipstick. The couple has been in a relationship for over 7 months. Both women are married with 2 kids each.
Both women were forced into marriages by their parents and they were never happy with their husbands. The relationship between the two blossomed when both joined the same company for work. I wish the parents were a little considerate in forcing them into marriages, that would have atleast bettered the lives of the husbands and kids who these ladies have left behind all heartbroken.
Same gender relationships are not uncommon to we Indians. Lord Agni (the god of fire) is said to have been in a gay relationship with Shoma (the moon Lord). It is time that we accept people from LGBT community as humans and give them the love and acceptance that they deserve.
