Youths of the nation are smart and they find innovative ways to express their displeasure. Hunger strikes and protests are a passenger, people now makes videos to get the attentioms of the concerned department. I am proud by a team of 4 young men from my city who tried putting some sense in the authority in charge of the national highway, but seems like they don't want to understand the idea behind the fun video.

Mangalore/ Mangaluru, my hometown is a beautiful city with pristine beaches and rivers that attract many tourists. The city is also home to a major Port and some important industries all of which are located on the other side of the Phalguni River. The two sides of the city are connected with each other through 'Kulur Bridge'. There are two bridges that handle the to and from traffic between the parts PF the cities. The bridge manages the heavy and light traffic that carries cargos for the port and the industries hence is highly used. Thanks to these heavy traffic, the highway in this strech needs to be conditioned every now and then, but authorities don't see potholes as a reason to complain. 

Thanks to the heavy rains that poured over tge City during the last 2 months has spoilt thw condition of the roads immensely. The constant complaints from the locals about their concern of road safety has been brushed aside by the National Highway Authority of India as a common problem during monsoons, but seems like they are waiting for a major mishap. 

Kulur bridge is among the oldest bridges in Karnataka and has been holding the two parts of the city strong for ages. A little conditioning would make the bridges strong for some more years, but the authorities turned a deaf ear. The four awesome youths decided to get the eyes of the aithorities than ears and made a humorous video that showed them make a milkshake by putting together required ingridients in a Shaker and travelling through the bridge to get the perfect frothed milkshake. Did that help? No. The video went viral the rains have stopped, still the authorities are waiting, may be for the snow to begin and stop. Little do these innocent authorities know that it doesn't snow in this part of the country. Somekne should tell these innocent souls that they can begin thejr work 😂. 

My son travels to school through that bridge and he is very excites as that's the only time when they can fall over each other and have fun and blame it on the bad roads. The road is a major concern for patients. I wish they fix it very soon.
