And yet they survive and play and provide an important part in their natural eco systems.

Ohh nice to see this plant after so long time.
it is mostly found in Palayakayal mangrove forest of Tamilnadu, INDIA
The plant is used as a haemostatic. A decoction of the plant is considered the best antidote for stings of venomous fish; it should be applied externally for a long time. The leaves are said to be antiscorbutic
