We all have friends. Some of them remains long while many disappears with time. When we give more values, some friends are hard to be with. They control our lives and it causes mental stress. They use our lives for their desires. Some friends change even without leaving any clue for its reason. I have met each and every one of them. 

After all the time, I have a friend that loves me as my parents do. It is not hard to be with her. It is not stressing to discuss matters. She does not judge me on others words. I am not someone who speak on these things publicly. But I am thankful to her for being with me from my school days. When you have such a friend, you don't have to explain anything. Because they are there in every single moment of your life. 

I have heard this. "A good friend knows all your stories, but the best friend has lived them with you." She is such a friend. I have had only few female best friends. I usually do not trust them. Many times they are not open and they pre-judge you over things. So, I usually have male friends. 

Everything change after I went to university. I went their with two best friends from my school time. I was very happy on this. But with time, one of them turned out to be a stranger. I still like some qualities of her. But still the disappointment rises over that. This happened in the very first semester. I could not bear it. After that, I did not want any best friend from the university, so I did not wanted to be with friends. 

Normally students those who engage with friends during school time become more active in the university. The opposite happened with me. But during all these time, I had that one friend there for me. We spent our 4 years at the same boarding room until we got the hostel facilities in the last year. Unfortunately we did not had the chance to be there due to Corona pandemic. 

I could not meet my university friends during this year and I met only her. Most of the times, I did not wanted to go out. As she says, "ගොඩක් කාලෙකින් දැක්කෙ නැති වුණාම සාංකාව වගේ"  😅. So we met today. She had  a list to buy. So, I went with her. This is a habit from early days. We went from store to store to complete the shopping list. I did not have a list to buy.

Since the time of schooling, we had a habit of buying hairbands, bangles, hair clips without any reason. So we did not forget to continue it. I selected one and she selected another one. Then we both wanted others one too. So we bought pairs.🤣 We had a huge common collection of them during university time too. Things haven't changed though we have grown year by year.

And she has brought me a book and some fruits too. I should say these are our habits too. And most importantly, she had wrote this quotation on the first inner page of the book. That took my heart. And I realized that it is true. Also she has put a dream catcher inside the book. 😘 That was done by her. I hung it near my dressing table.

We had time to share many gossips from the time that we did not meet. Most importantly, I am thankful for brining back old memories. Thank you babe @rasinkani and thank you for the day! And thank you for living my life with me. (@mayu95 I did not forget you too.)
