<b>India</b> is a very Large Country. As far as I know it's <b>50 times bigger than Sri Lanka.</b> That's a lot. And that means there so much more Cricket Players in India. But there is only one National Cricket team. So, many Cricket Players miss out the chance of playing for their Country in International Level. 

<b>IPL</b> is mainly being helpful for this best Hidden Players to emerge by showing their skills. There are also Many Local Tournaments. But IPL Is an <b>International Platform.</b> So, it's the best place to Build up a name for New Local players.

As we all know, IPL is a T20i Tournament. So, it's hard to see <b>Centuries in IPL.</b> Most Century holders are International Players and Indian players who play for National team. It's so rare to see a Local boy Scoring a Century in IPL. And most of those players lately played for National Cricket Team. <b>Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha</b> are some of them. But one didn't even get the Chance. 

<b>Paul Valthaty</b> is that Unlikely boy. Actually I have only seen him Playing only in one IPL season which is <b>in 2011.</b> He played for  <b>Kings XI Panjab</b> then. Before  that he had played for  Rajasthan Royals. In 2011 season, <b>he scored a Match Winning Century, 120 runs from 63 balls against Chennai Super Kings.</b> And finished the season being the <b>6th highest run scorer in the Season.</b>

Even if you have scored a Century in IPL, as a Batsman he should <b>keep the form going</b> to earn a place  in National Team. And that's where Valthaty failed. 2011 season was a Better one for  him. So he was picked for <b>2012 and 2013 by KXIP and he failed.</b> These are the Scores he got in his last IPL matches.

We really don't know why he failed. If necessary attention was given for him after the Century, I think he would've been a great player for India. So he became a <b>One-Season Wonder in IPL.</b>

I did some Background Check and found out that he had played in <b>2002 Under 19 World Cup</b> in New Zealand. <b>Parthiv Patel, Suresh Raina</b> was on that Squad too. In that tournament, <b>he got an Eye Injury</b> and that's where his Cricket Career fell apart. It affected him badly for years.

Anyway, <b>Paul Valthaty</b> was a player with potential. Scoring an IPL Hundred is a big thing. And Paul Valthaty is the one and only Cricketer who Scored a Century in IPL and not played International Cricket. And let's <b>hope he'll be the Last one on that list.. </b>
