A Moment With a Bird's Nest | 10% For SL Charity

Hello everyone!!

Today is bird's nest day for me. In our culture, an alms is held three months after someone dies. We call it the three-month alms. The speed at which time passes is amazing. It's been three months since my aunt died. So we're busy with that task these days.

There was a banana had grown in our garden and we decided to carry them to my aunt's home for her alms. When my mom and me were seperate banana rows from the stem, we saw a bird's nest hidden in the banana bunches. After seeing that, We felt sorry about the owners of that nest. They may found where's their nest. So I decided to put it on a safety place.

After having a bath in the noon, I searched some places to put that nest. Firstly I put it on a hanging flower vas. That place was high from four ot five feet from the ground and ventilation and warm was also a good place to get. But when it rains ??? There's no shelter to the nest to escape the rain. So I found another place to put the nest.

Then I remembered our fence which has made from Giriseediya trees. I put the nest among the branches and shoots of Giriseediya trees. But again the same problem came. I'm not sure that a couple of bird will made this nest as their home. But I wish to happen it. So I wanted to put this nest in a place where has good safety. So I rejected the second place also.

Then I selected a bush cinnamon trees. I put the nest among the shoots of cinnamon. Wow! That's the place I found 😍. There has a good shelter to the nest. There has a good ventilation and warm to the nest. So I decided to put the nest on my third selected place.

Then how about enemies😬. Reptiles, next door cat... I can't stop those threats because that is nature. They are the food chains in the environment. So I can't stop that. But I put the nest in a safe place 🤗

And I wanna show you the structure of this nest. I have told you before from my article, zoology is a amazing thing. We all have seen various type of nest of birds. It's amazing how they can make a strong nest out of various shapes. Their patience is superb.

I'm not sure that a couple of bird will made this nest as their home. But I hopefully waiting for seeing that beautiful view.
