Is It Foolish To Be Silent? | 5% For SL-Charity

Hello everyone!!!

Today I start my article from a question. **Is it foolish to be silent?** That is my question and what do you think about that? My one of uni friend called me today after a long time. I saw her in January of 2020 at last and I was so happy when seeing her phone call. She told me about a experience she faced recently with me and that's headed me to write this article.

#### Her story 
*She had a boyfriend and it's about two years for their relationship. They had introduced about each other to their parents and their parents had agreed to their relationship. But she had realized that her boyfriend didn't care her since few days.*

*She had asked from him the reason and she had realized that her boyfriend has another girlfriend. OMG! She realized that her boyfriend is cheating to her. So she had decided to stop that relationship right away. My friend is so amazing girl. Why?*

*That person told their parents the wrong information about my friend and eventually my friend was found guilty and the relationship broke down. Yeah! She is so amazing*.....

I asked from my friend, Where did you get so much patience? She smiled and gave me a beautiful answer. She told me that she felt so sad about that. She told me that she believed in the teachings of the Buddha. She told me that everything is not permanent in this world and her sad is also not permanent. She told me that her parents trust her and it was a big help to get settle everything. 

Unbelievable thing is after few days that guy had send a sms to my friend saying **thank you**. Then my friend had asked from him that why you say me thank you and he has said that it is for hidden the truth😥. My friend had the space  to prove her boyfriend wrong and get rid of all the accusations. But she didn't do that. She still silence. 

How amazing she is?? If I had to faced that at least I cry. But she... She is strong girl and she had taken that strong, that patience from the teachings of Buddha. 

Sometimes we have to speak up for injustice. When we don't talk, society think we're wrong. Silence can even be an encouragement to wrong things.  Sometimes people who have wronged us, when we are silent think we are really stupid. Like it happened to my friend. 

Is it foolish to be silent? In my opinion, it is sometimes foolish to be silent. But in this case, I think my friend is hundred precedent correct. Because cheating for love is a special bad work among bad deeds. Because love is depended on human feelings. 

My friend has given the best answer for that bad guy from silence. That guy know that he is wrong. Unless he didn't thank to my friend. My friend told me her sad is not permanent. So I told her, the happiness of that guy is also not permanent. My friend only smiled. I learnt a big lesson from her.

My answer is that it depends on the occasion. And your friend is correct. She hasn't done anything wrong even with her words so she will never feel guilty and that boy will be guilty when he understand the things.

I hate this kind of situations where one cheats. I we tell someone that we love them, we should have the courage to act accordingly to that words whatever happens. As sometimes it is just three words to us but it will be the whole life to someone🥺

You are correct. There is something beyond that three words. Cheating is very unpleasant thing should not be in this world   😥

Yes, This is a really sad event! But still I appreciate your friend’s faith and patience. 

But I always hate a person with such a deceptive mentality. It is very difficult to know people at the present time.

I agree with you 100%, my girl. But some times silence is the most suitable answer according to my experience. Don't think about the society dr. Bcz society is not correct always. Society sees only our external appearance not the internal. More than wasting our words, it's better to be silent 💓

My comment is completely unrelated to this, but related to "Silence". When my wife is angry with me and when she is scolding I always try to stay silent. So she gets soo mad and she is unable to continue! :D :D Thank god she is still with me  :D
