Oggi, cerco di aggiornarmi su alcuni argomenti, ispirata anche dal bel articolo di @Mikytalia sui beni italiani dichiarati   Patrimonio dell’Umanità Unesco.
 Siamo al primo posto, ormai assieme alla Cina, per beni inseriti nella lista mondiale e questo si spiega non solo con la indiscussa ricchezza del Patrimonio Storico artistico del nostro Paese ma anche con la storia stessa del’ UNESCO e le modalità di candidatura e individuazione dei beni da inserire che, indubbiamente, nella parte iniziale del loro lavoro, ha privilegiato il patrimonio Europeo.
Anche per questo, oggi, l’Italia vanta ben 55 luoghi nella Lista UNESCO.
Ormai attenzione è però rivolta a tutto il mondo ma noi manteniamo la posizione assieme alla Cina.
Quando vado fuori dalla mia regione cerco sempre di vedere un Sito UNESCO: non si è mai delusi in quanto si tratta comunque di siti di eccellenza.

Ora che Sono a Bologna, e prima di partire, ho voluto quindi approfondire e capire se in questa regione si trovano dei siti in UNESCO.
Sono diversi, vediamoli.
Il centro storico di Ferrara è stata dichiarata nel 1995 e poi la dichiarazione è stata estesa anche al Delta del PO. Devo ancora vederla.
Ravenna, la città dei mosaici, ha ben 8 siti inseriti nella lista. Un patrimonio di eccezionale ricchezza e bellezza che ho visitato.
La città di  Modena ha  tre costruzioni ( La Piazza Grande, Il Duomo e la Torre Ghirlandina) che sono state  inserite nella lista  UNESCO dal 1997 .

Questi sono i monumenti inseriti in lista.
Ma Bologna dal 2006 propone la candidatura al patrimonio UNESCO anche del suo fantastico e complesso sistema di portici che si estende lungo le strade della citta per circa 40 KM.
La vita dei Bolognesi è davvero molto condizionata da questo spazio lineare e continuo, semipubblico,  dove si svolge tranquilla la vita quotidiana. Si passeggia, si mangia ci si ripara quando piove.
Bellissimi un certi tratti, per le ricche decorazioni delle volte, questi portici sono una caratteristica forse unica al mondo con questa dimensione.
Molto comprensibile quindi la proposta di dichiarazione che, se volete seguirne sui social la vicenda, ha pure una pagina Facebook dedicata.

Il processo di candidatura è lungo e complesso e speriamo che Bologna possa avere questo importante riconoscimento.

THE DIARY GAME-12/10/2020:  Monday. Let's update
Today, I am trying to update myself on some topics, also inspired by the nice article by @Mikytalia on Italian assets declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
 We are now in first place, together with China, for goods included in the world list and this is explained not only by the undisputed richness of the historical and artistic heritage of our country but also by the history of the UNESCO itself and the methods of candidacy and identification of goods to be included which, undoubtedly, in the initial part of their work, privileged the European heritage.
Also for this reason, today, Italy boasts 55 places on the UNESCO list.
Attention is now turned to the whole world, but we are maintaining the position together with China.
When I go outside my region I always try to see a UNESCO site: you are never disappointed as they are still sites of excellence.
Now that I am in Bologna, and before leaving, I therefore wanted to investigate and understand if there are UNESCO sites in this region.

They are different, let's see them.
The historic center of Ferrara was declared in 1995 and then the declaration was also extended to the Delta of the PO. I have yet to see her.
Ravenna, the city of mosaics, has 8 sites included in the list. A heritage of exceptional richness and beauty that I have visited.
The city of Modena has three buildings (the Piazza Grande, the Duomo and the Torre Ghirlandina) which have been included in the UNESCO list since 1997.

These are the monuments included in the list.
But since 2006 Bologna has also proposed the candidacy for UNESCO heritage of its fantastic and complex system of arcades that extends along the streets of the city for about 40 KM.
The life of the Bolognese is very much conditioned by this linear and continuous, semi-public space, where everyday life takes place quietly. We walk, we eat, we shelter when it rains.

Some features are beautiful due to the rich decorations of the vaults, these arcades are perhaps a unique feature in the world with this dimension.
The proposed declaration is therefore very understandable which, if you want to follow the story on social networks, also has a dedicated Facebook page.

The application process is long and complex and we hope that Bologna will have this important recognition.
