L'uva è uno dei frutti più comuni nella mia regione dove tradizionalmente, vaste aree di territorio, sono state dedicate alla sua coltivazione finalizzata sia alla produzione di vino che al suo consumo in tavola.
Un pergolato d'uva non manca mai nei cortili delle case tradizionali. Bianco, nero o rosato le varietà prelibate e famose sono tantissime.
Ma l'uva è un frutto che da sempre ha rappresentato l'abbondanza e la ricchezza ed ecco perchè è importante, a fine anno, l'uso dell'uva nei riti beneaugurali della mezzanotte.
Ricordo un Capodanno a Barcellona che mi fece scoprire questa particolarità (non proprio comune in Italia).
Arrivata la mezzanotte, bisogna mandare giù, e con una certa velocità, 12 chicchi d'uva.
Semplice per chi è abituato a mangiare tutto l'acino, compreso buccia e semi. Meno facile per chi, invece, non gradisce mangiare la buccia e i piccoli semi del gustoso frutto.
Le scene, a causa di questa eventualità, possono avere dei risvolti comici.

Celebre l'uso di questo adorabile frutto, che gli artisti hanno fatto nel corso dei secoli.
Dipinti bellissimi, soprattutto nature morte, hanno come protagonista assoluto lucenti grappoli d'uva disposti con arte sul tavolo.
Io ho provato a scattare delle foto di still-life con un grappolo d'uva nera .come questa che vi mostro.
Ho scoperto che non è per nulla facile domare un grappolo d'uva.....
