As part of the government initiative to empower the   youth in Agriculture and to also reduce the rate of poverty among many societies in Ghana, our President introduced cultivation of Sunflowers.

This plant has a great value in terms of usage and profitability. Because of this, many youth engaged themselves in this project, which also promoted @farms in Ghana to facilitate, reduce dependency and poverty levels.

One peculiar thing about "Sunflower," apart from its site attraction and economic gains is that: "the plant always praises God through its movement from its base to its shoot.

One morning, I happened to visit my "Sunflowers" farm to remove all the unwanted plants around the sunflowers. I had already heard the story about the plant, especially when it bears flowers, so I went there early dawn to see the reality of the story.

As the sun started to rise, the flowers of the plants headed towards the direction of the sun on the East direction. The plants followed the sun as it rises towards it direction, and they pursued till the sun set. The sunflowers continue with this activities always, until their lifespans are exhausted, or they are harvested

What testimony do we have on this plant? The sunflowers, as one would say, have peculiar relationship with the sun. Though other plants respond to sunlight, but the relationship between sunflowers and the sunlight is exceptional.

The sunflowers praises God through that way, and relying on the sun for their survival.

That is why the sunflowers follow the sun light early in the morning and continue to move as the sun light move, till the sun set.

One could ascribe this concept to its scientific happening, but to my opinion, the sunflowers admire the handy works of God, which is "the Sun." So, the is communication between the sun and the sunflowers.

We should remember that, Jesus Christ once said: "if we do not worship Him, He can command the gravels to worship Him." So, what is marvelous if sunflowers praises nature and admire the beautiful things our Maker has done?

The sunflower plants are our perfect example, that we have the cause to praise God all the time, from Sun rise to Sun set.

One is not forced, before he praises God, but rather, it must be done whole heartedly or willingly.

Praise God With A Sense Of Purpose: We should remember that the sunflowers move from one direction to another direction, showing the purpose the sunflowers have for the sun. As Parishioners we should build a sense of purpose of everything we do or offer. Everybody have it that, God almighty has done a lot for our lives; delivering us from sicknesses, saving us from accident, offering us job when we were jobless, and the like. If we have even nothing to praise God on, there is one exceptional thing that we should always be thankful to our almighty God: "that is the air the we breath."

We should know what God has done for us, not for some one to remind us before we praise our maker.

>>"I love them that love; and those that seek me early shall find me."

Those who diligently seek Him find Him, and their heart desires are fulfilled.

Praise God from all your Heart and Love: Someone whose love is from his heart, keep keen interest in every affairs of the things that he loves, and follow that thing closely.

That fellow continuous to build relationship between him and that thing. Hence, Christians praise well if they build very good relationship between them and God.

Our way of praising God, even show us how much we love God from our heart. How many times do we praise God? Is it once every week, month, or yearly? We should praise God always, in order to see his glory.
