Spiritual Meditation in Celtic Tomb

# Parknabinnia : Megalithic site in Ireland

The journey into the past of the Irish megalithic culture leads me to a Wedge Tomb, in the Burren, the karst landscape in the west of Ireland. The best preserved tomb of this type is Parknabinnia. I invite you to visit this grave, we wander around once and then we even venture inside. The constant rain on this day gave me the opportunity in this protected chamber to feel in deep meditation the power of this place and a song has emerged out of it, that has since been anchored in my repertoire. Amazingly, the melody was  identified  by a shaman in Yakutia as a well-known northern melody.

# Parknabinnia : Megalithanlage in Irland

Die Reise in die Vergangenheit der irischen Megalithkultur führte mich zu einem Keilgrab, Wedge Tomb, im Burren, der Karstlandschaft im Westen Irlands. Das am besten erhaltene Grab dieser Bauform ist Parknabinnia. Ich lade dich ein dieses Grab zu besuchen, wir wandern einmal herum und dann wagen wir uns sogar ins Innere. Der konstante Regen an diesem Tag hat mir dann in dieser geschützen Kammer die Möglichkeit gegeben in tiefer Meditaion den Kräften dieses Platzes nachzuspühren und dabei ist ein Lied entstanden dass seither in meinem Repotuare fest verankert ist. Verblüffender Weise wurde die Melodie in Jakutien von einer Schamanin als ein bekanntes Nordlied identifiziert.

I *loved* spending time inside the tombs in Ireland. I never though I would visit a country where the past is just waiting for you, out in a farmer's field somewhere. When you think of tombs or archaeological sites, you think of guard rails and roped off areas &mdash; a distancing from the past.
 It's a fascinating place!
