It's a fact that right now there's very little else to Steemit other than the money. But what I meant was that, theoretically, without the money, the site would have to be attractive and more fun in other ways. The money is a crutch, and that's why nothing happens. In my estimation, anyway. I've gotten banned from Facebook several times for my posts, I won't get banned from Steemit. There's that already. Also, the post was more tongue in cheek than anything.

I've been banned and censored from Reddit for a variety of ridiculous reasons. This guy's post went south when he claimed (with no evidence) that *"much of the stuff that gets censored on traditional social media and other outlets is stuff that 99% of ppl don't want to see."* Someone reposted my Bitcoin Scaling Trojan Horse article to Reddit, and it got minorly brigaded by /bitcoin trolls to try and hide it. I don't know how he could possibly know that, since we don't have access to a database of censored data to even try to figure it out.

I said 'much', not 'all' or even 'most'. Im not a huge reddit guy, but i hear the r/bitcoin reddit is very poorly moderated by a fanatical 'bitcoin masximalist' who attempts to stifle any criticism of btc or exploration of alternative cryptos. Is that bad? Sure. Is it the exception on social media, rather than the rule? In my opinion, yes. But i could be wrong, especially as far as reddit goes.
