Week 2 of the NFL season get started tonight as the Houston Texans face off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams are desperate for a win after horrible performance in week 1.
<hr>
The game is being played at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kickoff is at 8:25pm Eastern Standard Time. It can be seen on the NFL Network. The Bengals are 6 point favorites and the over/under is 38.

The Houston Texans opened up their season with an embarrassing home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their offensive line was atrocious and gave up 10 sacks. Starting quarterback Tom Savage was terrible and benched at the half. First round draft pick Deshaun Watson entered the game and was able to throw 1 touchdown in his first NFL action. He will get the start tonight and look for him to get wide receiver Deandre Hopkins heavily involved in the offense. Running back Lamar Miller must be more productive to take pressure off of Watson. Watson’s mobility will be key to avoid the blitz and stay out of 3rd and long.

The Texans defense was also bad last week. They allowed the Jaguars anemic team to score 29 points in the blowout loss. And even worse news, starting linebacker Brian Cushing was suspended today for failing the substance abuse program for the second time. His continued use of PEDs will keep him out until week 12 and by that point, the season may be lost.

The Cincinnati Bengals start to the season was no better. They suffered a 20-0 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Nothing was working on offense. Andy Dalton threw 4 interceptions and had 1 fumble. The Bengals on had 221 yards of total offense. AJ Green was targeted 10 times but was only able to catch 5 of the passes. The defense played OK but was under the gun the whole game due to Dalton’s 5 turnovers.

Tonight will be a much better performance by both teams. Everyone over reacts after the first week of the season and I think that Dalton bounces back and plays well. They have plenty of talent on offense and will look better.

Deshaun Watson finally gets his first NFL start. This will energize the Texans offense. Though the over/under sits low at 38, I expect more scoring than that. My play for tonight is on the over. Who do you think will win? Let me know! Cheers!
