 Guardare serie tv, si sa è la mia passione. Scrivere di serie tv, il mio hobby. Qualche giorno fa, mentre scrivevo una recensione per il mio sito web, serialfiller.org, ho analizzato alcune cose della serie tv in questione, Maniac, e mi sono imbattuto in un'accezione che altre volte avevo sentito ma non avevo mai indagato a dovere. Ho pensato che potesse essere giusto approfondire il tema e farne un brevissimo post per "una cosa al giorno". La parola, o meglio le 2 parole incriminate, sono le seguenti: COMPOS MENTIS A livello lessicale, e medico, compos mentis indica una persona che abbia il controllo delle sue capacità mentali. Una persona capace di intendere e di volere, insomma. Quello che però questa locuzione latina assume come significato all'interno della serie ha dei tratti molto più filosofici. Cosa significa davvero essere in controllo delle proprie funzioni mentali? Cosa vuol dire essere pazzo? Cosa vuol dire essere normale? A livello giuridico, a livello penale, la compos mentis è fondamentale per capire se chi si trova alla sbarra sia una persona lucida o meno. A livello molto più filosofico la diatriba è molto più accesa. Ma questa è un'altra storia.
