A throwback to my minor (major for her perhaps) accident at SS2. The SS2 bridge opposite petron station, it is famous for having a very terrible jam especially for those who are trying to U-Turn. Previously under that bridge it is allowed to go straight, left, or right for U-Turn. But because of the traffic management they decided to close down straight, leaving you with the choice of turn left or right U-Turn only.

I have been using this road for countless years ever since I got my driving license. For those who are familiar with the road I'm pretty sure you know where is this from the picture below.

According to the "rulebook", only right lane is allowed to turn right for U-turn while the left lane is only for left (there's an arrow there). But many drivers abuse it especially cutting in from the left lane at the very last moment before the red divider. It is possible to cut in from the left because the U-Turn road itself can fit 2 cars and even motorbike from each sides. It is very usual for people to cut in from the left, I'm pretty sure everyone knows the way already especially those who use this road often.

I'm not trying to say that it is right to do so, by cutting it from the left, especially selfish drivers (me included lol). But at least some courtesy like signal or waving your hand will pretty much gives you a higher chance for the right lane drivers to give you way in. Normally they will leave a huge gap before turning in, not sure why though but everyone does that.

So I did the same, waving my hand and signalling to the right. The gap was created so huge then I waved another time as a thank you for the Red Kenari driver. I have successfully entered the lane and bam she hit my rear right rims for no reason.

Look at her damage and mine, mine can be easily fixed by spraying back rim painting maybe about RM60. As for her, we both came out and talked rationally and I asked her why did she intend to hit me even after giving me space, she just kept denying and say it was her lane even though I successfully changed my lane. It was a waste of time trying to argue with her and I asked her to go to the police station and make report instead.

Funny drivers everywhere, leaving you space for you to go in their lane, then hit you back. If she doesn't want me to get it, then close the gap in the first place eh?
