 Hello steemians, I hope you all having a good time. So, today I doing an album review continues the solo Adventures of one, the music industry's most influential artists of all time and I'm talking about Zayn following the release of his debut studio album "Mind of mine" in 2016. He had already confirmed shortly after that he was on to his next project and just within two years, he released his second studio album titled "Icarus falls" .One thing I will say about this album is that Zayn had incorporated 27 tracks that's a huge amount of music to get by so instead I decided to only review the tracks that stood out to me and what I consider as part of my musical tastes. The record begins with the song "Let me" and goes into natural and unlike his previous album that had an intro this doesn't waste no time and heads into soft soothing summer vibe.As Zayn still remains his composure of being romantic and artistic back to life seems to have an 80s groove with a little taste of some cultural vocal warm ups and a catchy chorus just like the song "Common" .Which will also become addicting for sure skipping over a few tracks. The next song called "Tonight" comes back with zayn singing in falsetto as he sings purely from the heart about being with someone special and making the moment perfect. Then you have another song called "Flight" which takes a modern approach of music with a talking/singing technique as the next song. If I got you hits you with some vocal effects but compliments Zayn's vocals as if he owns every track like it's his first or last single. "Talk to me" is another good track with a poppy vibe almost like a dance track as another song called "There you are" is very reminiscent of a One Direction song, where once again Zayn shines with his high-pitched vocals shining as a lead vocalist even though he's the only one singing then. You have a song called "I don't mind" which gives us an R&B; soul feeling as the next song "good years" will please fans as we finally hear Zayn sing his heart out giving us that energy we all waited for since "Pillow talk".   "Rainberry" reminds me of one of those song from the 90s with a funky groove and just about every other song prior or after. I didn't mention is a neither singing soft with some electronic beats and a little experimentation with keyboards and acoustic guitars overall with only 27 songs. I'm surprised that a little more than a half were really good even though on the first listened a lot felt like songs. I can listen to while driving or just doing something. What's having music in the background of course my preference and music is to only have all the ear catching songs and some of the singles he chose weren't much of my favorites but to Zayn and I'm all of his diehard fans a lot of these songs will speak differently and become favorites as there's a lot to choose from when it comes to the art direction sure it wasn't as mysterious and dark like "Mind of mine". Because even by looking at his album cover and all the numerous different colored hairstyles and photo shoots. He's been doing throughout the years, you can tell Zayn obviously went all over the place and became so free that even he himself doesn't know what he's doing. One day he has short hair, the next day it's long then it's green then that's blond and the cycle is just insane plus since Dana's his own canvas.
