Countdown to my first Marathon - 59 days to go [34/50 #fiftyrunstillmay]

<center><h1>First run of the week</h1>

Can’t believe I didn’t get out for a run this week till Wednesday evening, I can’t blame anyone apart from myself. Monday is Rest day and I just go to a yoga class, Tuesday was supposed to be an hour run but when I finished work at lunchtime it was chucking it down with rain and I just couldn’t face going out in it. I don’t mind if it starts raining when I’m already out but I hate it when it’s raining before I go. So Wednesday was day off from work but I was babysitting my little granddaughter all day, I could of got up really early and go but it’s dark still till 7am so that didn’t happen! After a busy day entertaining a lively 1 year old I took her home at 7pm and got myself ready to go for a run as if I missed another day I wouldn’t fit in my 4 runs this week that my training plan suggests. 

It was 8pm and pretty cold (2 degrees Celsius) and pretty damp, not raining just damp! I thought I’d just go for a short 5k as it was quite late but as I got going I decided to carry on and do the full 40 minutes that my training plan says I should do. A not bad run either I managed 7 km in 40 minutes which is good for me as I usually run really slow on training runs.
