Gullfoss
Gullfoss er ein av dei flottaste fossane på Island. Fossen vert flittig besøkt av turistar og er kanskje den som vert mest besøkt. Legg merke til alle turistane på mange av bileta. Turistane kjem frå alle kantar av verda. 
Gullfoss er like i nærleiken av geysirane på Island slik at turistane får med seg begge desse turist-attraksjonane på same busstur.
I tillegg ligg fossen 120 km frå hovudstaden på Island, Reykjavik, slik at turistar som oppheld seg i hovudstaden har høve til å besøkja denne fine fossen.
Fossen kjem frå elva Hvitá og har eit fall på til saman 32 meter. Det øvste fallet er på 11 meter. Det neste fallet er på 22 meter.

Gullfoss is the most famous waterfall in Iceland and is also one of the most beautiful. The waterfall is diligently visited by tourists and is perhaps the one that is most visited. Note all the tourists on many of the pictures. The tourists come from all parts of the world.
Gullfoss is close to the geyser in Iceland so that tourists can visit both of these tourist attractions on the same bus tour.
Besides, the waterfall is 120 km from the capital city of Iceland, Reykjavik, allowing the tourists to visit this beautiful waterfall.
The waterfall comes from the river Hvitá and has a drop of 32 meters in total. The top waterfall is at 11 meters. The next waterfall is 22 meters. Here are some pictures I took on my trip to Iceland recently.

You are very lucky to see such beauty! 

Great photos!  I read that this waterfall is also called 
and **the Golden waterfall of Iceland**, given the features 
the language of the Scandinavian Vikings, the name  
Gullfoss means "Golden folls" 
(Gull - translates as gold, and Foss-as a waterfall).

Impressive scenery and the waterfall itself! 
Even the rainbow is amazing ! 
Great footage!

Hey  @siggio, that is really impressive to see how tiny the people are at the side of waterfall, without that you can't imagine the whole size and water volume. That should be a breathtaking moment to stand on the shore and hear most probably a real loud noise of falling water. 

It is often you see in adventure movies how sometimes people taken with water stream and fall down waterfall but still alive and not injured, I can't imagine in real life this could happen.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to Iceland, the land of Volcanic activities, geysers and waterfall. Actually everything for the outdoor lovers. Cheers @Stef1

Impressive!
We have a lot of beautiful waterfalls and rainbows here in Hawaii, but that makes me appreciate truly wonderful and beautiful waterfalls from around the world.
