HOW TO REMOVE A MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR THAT IS ENCASED IN SOLID PLASTIC!!!!!

I was talking about how I picked up a "real" Silver dollar in a plastic paper weight when I was a kid.
I think I was about ten years old when I bought this!
This is that Silver dollar......
Do you see the discoloration at the top and the bottom, that is plastic still stuck to the Dollar!

This was a yard sale find, and I paid one paper Dollar for the paper weight!
There are no limits a stacker will go to to pick up Silver, and this was a 1921 Dollar!
So hammer in hand,  and a standard screw driver to beat on, Little Silvertop managed to remove this "free" Silver Dollar Lol!!!! 
Take a look at the color of this Morgan, it looks almost like aluminum...
I believe this is from being cooked in melting plastic!, and back then I probably dipped this in coin cleaner too....Dumb Kids.....
I remember thinking, I just got a SILVER DOLLAR for only ONE Dollar!😀

The Bank Teller gave me 50 Silver Dollars for my Fifty Dollars in Paper Money...  I was looking for Carson City Mint Marks...  I never did find any, so I kept turning the Silver Dollars back into the Banks,  for Paper Money...  I'd buy them at one Bank and turn them in at another... lol...

I never thought of that, my Dad was a coin collector but that wasn’t on his radar back then.

What a find! I used to collect coins when I was a kid and was able to build up quite a collection. The prize of my collection was a mid-1800's silver three cent piece.

I wish I would've! I sold it when I was in my early twenties, unfortunately. I still have a handful of coins in my original collection though. 

It's great you had someone to encourage you when you were younger. I have no idea how I originally got into collecting but I would ride my bike up to a local coin shop once every few weeks with my allowance/paper route money and spend it on coins.
