Internet connections problems and some little ducks

<p>Me and my hubby had a bad surprise today: our internet connections (ADSL, unlimited) at home had some problems (it doesn't work). It's the second time in the last month and I'm a bit angry.&nbsp;</p>
<p>After the first time we had a problem like this (a couple of years ago) we bought an internet dongle just to have an internet connection when our usual connections doesn't work, but sure, it's not the same because to have the same number of Giga we have to pay too much and so we payed just for few Giga (5). Of course, we'll pay the entire fee for our ADSL internet connection every month (there's not price reductions if the internet connection doesn't work) and we can't know when everything will run ok. Maye a couple of days, maybe a couple of week. Argh!</p>
<p>Just to know, we live in a city, not in a village on the mountain where it's normal to have problems like this.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So, starting from this morning today we are using just our internet dongle to be online using my laptop and the pc of Paolo. It's not a great problem, we have also our smartphone, but I'm an "old woman" who prefer to use the laptop and a unlimited connection ^_^</p>
<p>Just a thing that make me crazy: every time I have a connection problem I called the assistance service and every time they start with "You have to try to turn off and turn on the modem/router. " and they continue with other similar things to verify. Ehy guy, it's a joke? Sure, I did everything I could do to solve the problems by myself because I work online from more than 20 years and I know what I can solve by myself and what I can't. The thing that make me crazy is not about this, but just because if my hubby call the assistance they immediately activate their worker, without to ask him stupid things! Just because I'm a woman they think I can't understand what's happens.&nbsp;</p>
<p>To quiet my nerves, I walked on the side of the river and fortunately there were the little ducks. It was really relaxing to watch them and so I want to share with you some photos of these little quiet creatures:</p>

Minor Correction

Detto tra noi, capisco che loro stessi abbiano una precisa procedura da seguire nell'assistere il cliente, ma la cosa assurda è che con me provano a fare tutta la tiritera (di solito appena capisco che stanno per iniziare, li stoppo facendogli l'elenco delle cose che ho già verificato ^_^), mentre se telefona mio marito evitano di farla. Succede sia con operatori maschi che con operatori femmine, evidentemente il pregiudizio travalica il genere :D

I know just how you feel....frustrated and yes, angry. I too get the stupid questions and often slow-speaking operator because I am a woman. It can be infuriating, so sometimes I ask my son to ring people....it's amazing how quick they fix things then!
