Working on a new commission from a local B&B

<p>Some days ago, a woman that I knew in a local market during the Christmas time, contacted me for a commission! She bought one of my handmade pocket notebook featuring one of my illustrations and when she decided to open a Bed &amp; Breakfast here in my city, she thought about me.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She asked to me to represent the 4 Rioni ( Rione is the italian name we use to call the ancient/old territorial subdivision of a city, especially during the historical rievocation ^_^) in 4 different paintings to hang up on the wall of the different rooms in her B&amp;B and so I started to sketch them.</p>
<p>I started with the Leone D'Oro (Golden Lion), that it's also the Rione where I live:</p>

<p>At the right you can see my neckerchief with the symbol of the Rione and the colors that are red and yellow, at the left you can see the first sketch I did. I'll work to represent that symbol (a strange lion with the wings ^_^) in my own illustrative style and full of my little delicate leaves. I think it will be really funny fr me ^_^</p>
<p>In the following pic you can see the sketch of the symbole of the Golden Lion Rione and the sketch for another one: the Griffin (in italian is "Grifone")!</p>
