180 – Ezekiel 33:18-19
![image.png](https://ipfs.busy.org/ipfs/QmNzHCfXNLapZaoEEoqxtXgVkTpEG56h9bjZNNxWdGSvgk)

> If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.

So what can we learn form this verse? First, if you are walking in righteousness, you need to keep walking in righteousness. It’s not a one time deal. If you choose it one day and then not the next, there is no difference between you and the unbeliever. I realize that may sound harsh but it’s true. We have to remain in Him.

Lastly, if someone is walking in wickedness and chooses to turn from that wickedness to walk in what is just and right, they will have life.

The bottom line is that we are not guaranteed salvation. Neither are we condemned for past mistakes if we choose what is right before it’s too late. So where do you stand today? Are you continuing in Him? Or could it be time for a 180 in your life today?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!

This belongs in Judaism. It should be obvious that an evil man merely doing good does not save him. We're saved by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord. Once we gain salvation we can't possibly lose it.

(Ephesians 4:30 NIV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Howdy again sir simms50! I guess you aren't in the "once saved, always saved" crowd. I see that theology as taking away man's free will.

Howdy today sir simms50! yes, I've always thought there were plenty of scriptures that
ruined that argument but the entire Baptist denomination believes it.
