Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 10/1/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.
If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 10/1/2021.

### Here we are in January and the weather as been bitter cold, infact it's been so cold that I believe it froze one of the nearby outside incoming pipes as we had no water or pressure for a while. It's at times like this that make you realise how valuable water is and that without it ๐ฑ thing's start to fall apart. Anyway I have also now started using a different wallet to see if I could get some Bitcoins unstuck from a website which i had brought from and wanted to exchange for STEEM. This is because my original had been somehow magically suspended because of so called "suspicious activity" and so this trapped my money on their website๐ก. I tried to get my money out but the problems continued by receiving a error saying I had a invalid wallet. Apparently they only except those who have segregated witness wallets..argh! But I discovered that my wallet also comes with a segregated witness wallet. Victory, I was finally able to get the funds out, but annoyingly the wallet doesn't support STEEM nor can you make conversions to STEEM so I still had to move the Bitcoins out of the wallet to another exchange. Which makes me wonder if this is such a good method to repeat as I lose more money with having to keep moving coins into other places. As I then discovered that in order to move my Bitcoins again they would charge me over $5 in fees๐ฑ!! Now that's just insane and so I refused to pay... I think that one reason why such a fee is because of the insane bitcoin price at the moment and it's high demand right now. Luckily I didn't pay that $5 charge as I found a option which allowed me to set the price for moving my Bitcoins. This had me worried because you are warned that setting a price too low could potentially mean the Bitcoins getting stuck which means I would then have to buy more Bitcoins again just to move the ones I'm trying to move in the first place..๐. But the good news is that after all this ordeal I finally saw my Bitcoins arrive into the proper wallet๐.

### ๐We just saw STEEM almost reach $0.24 but unfortunately even with these insane $41000 Bitcoin prices STEEM as continued to not move much which is such a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so more with it but oh well until they do I can keep collecting it at a cheaper price. Since the rise back in February 2020 not much as changed over the months, and while yes it did go down to $0.09 last year it's still mostly stayed between $0.18 and $0.20 in 2020. There was also that mystery spike rise on March 19th last year taking Steem to $0.40๐ which seems to be the only real bounce we have seen. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $0.23 which broke this years record today. Well at least people can't complain about the price being too volatile as Steem as been mostly steady for nearly a year now. Still this brings opportunity as it's a great price to "power-up" your account cheaply and if you are under 10000 SP you may want to consider getting some, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation and also how much Tron you gain etc, as after-all a small bump in price with those holding's would bring-in some nice noticeable benefits to those with some skin in the game.

### ๐ We reached "๐ฌTRIPLE DOLPHIN๐ฌ" in November which means our collective STEEM POWER is now over ๐15000 SP!! We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM! My new goal ๐ is now to reach 20.000 SP๐, hopefully by June 2021. This is still not possible in our current situation but with a few more whale votes in these coming months we might just be able to get there. We are already off to a great start, much better than the previous run-up. I also want to thank everybody who votes in and for their kind support. I have now been on here for over 4 years and have never powered down once, I also continue to invest into STEEM in small quantities, your votes can help with this also, but this essentially means your votes are safe with me and help retain STEEM's value. We totalled 7.841 SP at the end of 2019 and reached 15.000 on November 24th and so if you want to help me on this new quest "locking away 20.000 Steem Power" with the intention to support and retain more of it's value then please consider leaving your best vote below.

### โบ Speaking of keeping things running the covid19 madness continues with us in lockdown number 3 at level 5. While there suppose to be differences between each level it definitely doesn't change the behaviour of people and so make's each of these levels pointless and no different then the next level. Lv-3 lockdowns were suppose to be the most strict, well not anymore just how many more lvls are they going to keep making up. While at first it didn't click as to why the covid cases were soaring I believe it may have started with the government allowing for the "Christmas get-togethers" to go on ahead. The mass vaccination process continues with now a roll out of another vaccine and I believe there as also some medicine used by those with arthritis that as been approved to fight covid. They are vaccinating the elderly first and those who care for them next. The most effective vaccine is said to be around %95 effective but many seem to be forgetting that these have not even been properly time tested. I have heard that this so called cure infact could possibly only protect those who take it for up to 9 months, at the end of the day we simply don't know that much about it. And now I heard they want to mix up both vaccines together when needed just for the sake of injecting as many people as possible, well that's just crazy and I'm glad scientists have spoken up about how absurd the idea is of mixing-up both vaccines without any proper testing. There is also a guy in government who wants people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society by not giving them access to any businesses, meaning you wouldn't be able to go food shopping, school, the cinema or even travel, to which I then don't see how exactly this would then be giving the public the choice? I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down. It was either work or be fired kind of attitude, and regardless of being in a lv5 lockdown my boss continues saying we are to be in for work. The food shortage problem I thought seemed to have sorted itself out but once again I'm going into shops and seeing many empty shelves. โบOne of my closest friends recently had the covid and while I was slightly worried about them catching it I'm glad to see they are basically back to good health. But my gosh are the crimes rates soaring again mostly between the 13 and 16 year olds just some horrific tragedies in the last few days.
