Dear Steemit Diary this is entry #23 for the Steemit Diary game, today the alarm was set for 7.00 AM but I only managed to get up at 8.40 AM.

This is one of the latest so far waking-up but it's ok because I only have a shift much later plus I needed a little extra sleep after these past few days of really long shifts, as I admit I'm not used to them, I believe since the lockdown I probably only done such a long shift's once or twice.

Having only a late shift I firstly logged into Steemit to start my daily online tasks.

I wanted to have breakfast at a time which made sense so that I could still eat a snack or something before going to work so I waited until around 10.00 AM to have breakfast but went still slightly later, this morning I had crumpets for breakfast.

I headed back up after breakfast and that is when I received the very sad news that film star Ian Holm had passed away.
If you don't know Ian you have probably seen him in the Lord Of The Rings movie's as he plays of course Bilbo Baggins.
I happen to love very much all the series movies and of course in the Lord Of The Rings he is a fascinating character, this comes because of the burden he once had with the one ring which had to be passed on to Frodo.

Anyway it is with great sadness that the actor Sir Ian Holm passed away at the age of 88 he is said to have died peacefully in hospital with the company of family, it's said he had a illness that was related to Parkinson's, the poor man, I thank him for all the entertaining work he as brought to many of us RIP.

I next had to get ready for work but admit I started to feel really tired, I was worried as I still needed to complete a shift today and while it's not as long as the ones I had in these past few day's I still hoped I wouldn't be too exhausted for work.
This tiredness came from I assume not getting enough sleep and this is because of the long shifts, I simply don't get the time to do all that is needed and so I ended up only going to sleep late, still I collected my things for work and got out the door.

Before I even got outside I knew it was slightly cooler today so I was hoping the colder air would wake me up abit to atleast get through my shift, today was cloudy but it wasn't raining which surprised me.

Traffic was also not bad today but I did see one guy that annoyed me when he came out of the supermarket he started dumping he's shopping rubbish which he just brought into a nearby bush, there was literally a bin 8 seconds away from him...

Work was enjoyable I guess because the boss was not in haha, it must of been he's day off I find it funny how I had 3 colleagues came up to me and say they had not seen him all day, it just shows how much happier people are when he is not in haha.

Came home and since it was late it was straight to making dinner, tonight we made roasted tomatoes and mushrooms with grilled bread.

Cleared-up after dinner, I sat and watched the news for a while and then went to bed.
