# <center>INTRODUCTION</center>
Hello Steemians, <br>
Welcome to another week in the Steemit crypto academy. I attended the lecture by the crypto professor @yousafharoonkhan as the professor based his teachings on the topic **Steemit Decentralized social media,Centralization and Decentralization social media**, I am happy to present my homework task here, this is to prove or indicate my level of understanding concerning the class held by the professor. Please read through and learn a bit from my blog as well.
>**Question no 1 :**
Write the definition of Decentralized and Centralized Social Media Platforms in your own words.Explain in your own words the difference between decentralization and centralization Social Media Platforms (answer should related Social Media Platforms . (answer must be written in oun words, copy paste or from other source copy will be not accepted)
The word centralized simply means there is a central control body, where all decision are made without considering the entire members. So looking at centralized social media, we can say that it is a social media platform that has a central body as it's control center. In this type of social media platform, the user in question has just but a limited control. The account of the user can be blocked and also his messages and record can be accessed without the permission of the user. In conclusion, centralized social media is a social media where you as a user has no complete control over your account and record as they can be altered and changed at anytime by the central authority. Examples of centralized social media platforms are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
The opposite of Centralized is Decentralized. This is to say since centralized doesn't give the user a complete authority over his or her account, decentralized on the other hand gives a user a complete authority over his or her account. In decentralized social media platform like steemit for instance the user has a complete authority over his or her account and it is not been controlled some where by a central body. Decision concerning your account can not be made without you consent.
Below are the differences between centralized and decentralized social media platform

Which One is The Future of Social media ? Decentralized or centralized Social media.(answer must be written in own words)
Well, in my own views, the future of social media is a decentralized social media. We all all know that centralized social media came before decentralized social media. And from my little knowledge about centralized social media like Facebook, you can not earn from it. Since I joined Facebook in the year 2012 I have never earned anything from there but since I joined steemit in November 2019 I have been able to earn a whole lot. So therefore if people should get to know that they can actually earn from a decentralized social media like steemit, trust me they will all stop using centralized and fall back to decentralized where they can earn.

How steemit decentralization social media is best than Twitter and Facebook.(answer must be written in own words)
Just as I earlier stated above, steemit as a decentralized social media platform is more secured than Twitter and Facebook because you as a steemit user have complete control over your account. More also, this platform rewards you for your quality post as against Facebook and Twitter which does not pay you or gives you any reward for your job well done.

What do you say? How do Steemit social media change the lives of millions of its users?(answer must be written in own words)
Talking about how steemit has changed the lives of millions of it's users, I can not but to say that I am also a living testimony to that. Since I joined steemit in November 2019 my life has changed completely. I can proudly say that my family can now have 3 Square meal daily. Sincerely, I have seen many people testifying concerning how steemit has made their lives more beautiful.

How can we make money with Steemit's decentralized social media.(write your own experience)
Making money in steemit is very easy and at the same time it is difficult. What am I saying in essence? To make money in steemit one need to be able to produce quality content, so as to attract higher vote. More also, we can earn money by voting other peoples post, we can earn by joining curation trial, we can also earn by accumulating higher steempower.

How to create communities on Steemit social media ( practicle step by step ) & Promote your homework post on two social media ,twitter and facebook (just share link in comments area)
**Step 1:**
Login to steemit and click on Steemit or it's icon as shown in the screenshot
**Step 2:**
Click Explore communities below as shown in screenshot
**Step 3:**
Click on Create a Community
**Step 4:**
select community name, then write community descriptions then click on next.
>you can see ,i made Helping Hands community and also wrote description and then click next button
**Step 5:**
After click Next button , you have to copy and save community password keys , it is very much important step
**Step 6:**
here pay is 3 steem cost , that admin will pay,if you are ready to pay 3 steem then click OK
**Step 7:**
after clicking ok, enter your active key to pay cost 3 steem ,
**Step 8:**
now community is ready to start, and promote
**Step 9:**
you can see Helping Hands community is active and ready to subscribe
