Thunk is totally clueless to the chanting in the back.  It’s all about the fighting.

RPG rules are in effect

Quaid: "Guys, I think that giant shadow demon is... or used to be... Lord Darkcloak." (looks at the new guys) "Oh, we should bring you up to speed.... blah, blah, blah (read all the old posts)"

OOC: About the new rules... if a monster covers more than one square and an area-of-effect spell is cast, does the enemy take damage from each square ? For instance, my fireball does 1 damage (plus half extra from the Burning Gem Necklace), so if a monster is 4 spaces large and I do a direct hit, does the monster take 4X1.5=6 damage?

While you guys ponder our next move, I'm going upstairs to gather some mummy wrap from the dead mummies and tie a bit to all of my arrows. I learned a valuable lesson from Thunk about using what is available in battle. My necklace will add a half-point of damage to every arrow if I light them on fire, so I'm preparing my arrows now while I have the chance.

(Having said that, I go upstairs and diligently prepare all of my arrows for use with fire, then go back down to see what the rest of the gang has decided.)

Remember what the old man at the inn told us? That some of lord Darkcloaks men went into the portal (there) to hunt spiders and never returned. Now we have a portal here in the basement of the church, although I suppose it's possible this has always been here...? Maybe they summon demons to kill for training purposes?

Thunk Walks up to Pandora and holds out hand for coins.  “I carry all coins for the group.   I have plenty of strength to carry the burden”. 

“Let’s make our way back up to the tavern to talk with that ol’ man.  He’s got some good ale.  Let’s not share our drink this time, he can’t handle his ale.”

“Tristenq, Zur & Pandora.  First round is on you.  It’s tradition for the new ‘uns  on the team”.

Thunk moves close to the dwarves and whispers, “Let these smart ‘uns figure out the “mystery”.  I just want a drink.  Then we can get back to Thunkin’ some more skulls.  This Tristenq guy looks like he can handle his ale.  Let’s see if we can drink the boy under the table”

Hi @simplegame, just to let you know I am leaving on a 10day vacation. I will probably be able to make my moves daily as there is internet access where I will go but just in case there is some mishap in that regards and I miss some turns, this will be the reason!
