Cassius was born in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1942. his mother and father named him cassius Marcellus Clay. Cassius make many friends when he started school. he like to talk and he like to play with big boys. But he run away when they started to fight cassius didn't like fights. The clay family was poor. But they had a good time together. Playing music and painting pictures.

When Cassius was 12,his father bought him a bicycle. One day he was riding a bicycle in town. Someone had taken it. Cassius become so angry that he jumped up and down. Then he began to cry. someone told him to go downstairs and tell Mr. Martin, a police officer.

Cassius ran up to Mr. Martin and cried, somebody stole my bike. And I want it back.If I find the kid who stole my bike, I will whip him.Mr. Martin said I give boxing lessons.

Cassius never found his new bike, but one day he so Mr. Martin on television. cassius wanted to learn boxing. The next day he told Mr. Martin he was ready to start boxing lessons.

Joe Martin saw that Cassius was very fast as he skipped around. Every morning, cassius reaced to school. After school he punched bags and did Shadow boxing.

Cassius learned more about boxing from Fred Stoner, a boxing trainer.

In 1954, Cassius had his first fight on television. He boxed 3 rounds in 6 minutes. Cassius won the fight. When Cassius was 14, he won the ligheavyweight title in Louisville.

At 17, Cassius was told and strong. He had become the best young boxer from his state of Kentucky. after he finished High School. Cassius head fight in other cities. Big crowds followed him.

When Cassius Clay had boxed 130 times, he had lost only 7 fights. He was ready for the 1960 Olympic games. the best young Boxers from all over the world would be there.

At the Olympic games play won a gold medal and become light heavyweight champion.

Cassius Clay joined a church called the Nation of Islam. He was given a new name Muhammad Ali.
In 1971, Ali lost the world championship. Then in 1974 Muhammad Ali and George foramen met in Africa for the biggest fight of all. Huge crowds come to see it. Muhammad Ali won the fight. Again he was the heavyweight champion of the world. Ali was won many prizes. He help poor people and people in school.

I have seen the movie Mohommed Ali when I was little but now I don't remember it.

I just wonder what could have happened if that 'someone' didn't told Ali about Martin. Somethings in life get lost to get something better like Ali's bicycle. Sad to know that he died because of Parkinson's disesase.
