## Since Steemvoter is down, I started looking for alternatives
Generally, I am a bit conflicted when it's about voting bots as people really could take advantage of it. This is what you're seeing a lot right now in the **Trending page** and realize that most of the trending posts we're triggered by voting bots (which seems a bit unfair, no?). 

I think it is a difficult topic and *using it* or *not using* it has both it's pro's and cons on both a personal and a community level.

In my case, I use voting bots to help me out with Sjennon Support as well as some friends I have on Steemit. You know who you are! *For example, for Sjennon Support, it's easy to simply add names to a list rather than keep refreshing my feed throughout the day (and remember all the names and their value etc.)*

I discovered @steemdunk when I ran into a [recent post](https://steemit.com/curation/@mammasitta/auto-voters-yes-or-no-steemdunk-is-my-choice-with-the-right-balance-of-manual-curation) of @mammasitta about @steemdunk. I hadn't heard of it before, but the words *similar to Steemvoter* and *curation platform* were only needed to grab my attention.

I just signed myself up and soon shall be posting my findings, differences and pros and cons. If I find any similar services, ofcourse I shall be including those too!
