My internal clock is totally out of sync from 36 hours of traveling half way around the world.. As a self admitted caffeine addict, I have abstained from said stimulant for what I can only estimate at around 3 days. I say estimate because it's impossible for me to be precise without caffeine..

While away from the instant coffee culture of Malaysia I enjoyed fresh robust blends of rubiaceae plants. A Colombian coffee spiked with kratom kept me jovial and mostly accessible at all times. I've been back in the jungle for 36 hours and have been too filled with malaise (wink)  to bring myself to fetch or make a cup of Joe. I should also note towards the end of my stay in the US I was downing yerba mate which I much prefer to coffee, but that's neither here nor there. The point, I think, is that I can't accomplish complete thoughts without caffeine. I'm struggling to concoct this post and fear I might require an instant coffee to succeed..

It's 6am, I woke up at 3 am after over 12 hours of forced and peculiar sleep. I finally got enough gumption to eat an hour ago. My American holiday fat reserves could sustain me another month no problem.. 3 weeks of cannabis consumption was enough to readjust to old familiar ways that include not eating unless I've had a puff or two.. This non psychoactive reality is crashing down around me lol. I will manage..

In an interesting little side step here I just noticed that Iran has admitted to shooting down the Ukrainian plane after denying any involvement initially.. I'm not exactly sure about air space regulations, but I do know I flew directly over Afghanistan and was over the Middle East around the same time this horrific tragedy unfolded. I suppose Iran is the last country left in the region unconquered by the USA and while I'm not advocating war mongering it does seem a regime change in the military ranks in Iran is appropriate after allowing such an unforgivable mistake to occur..

I despise the war machine and basically everything it touches but if you wanna play in the sand box and are proliferating nuclear arms this type of conflict can be expected.. When innocent lives are taken  by a foolish and incompetent chain of command my sympathies for Iranian military leaders are lost. Even I know if the USA was to retaliate against Iran a lone cruise missle wouldn't be the chosen tactic and mistaking a plane for such a soft attack demonstrates the ineptitude of Iranian military prowess..

Hopefully the dust will settle here as tensions are indeed high. I think the only thing that could bring humanity together would be an imminent threat from a superior alien race. Otherwise we might just all be fucked...Okay I drifted into something dark there maybe I better follow the golden rules of steem.  Don't steem without coffee and don't steem drunk..
