Woot! Yippie!!! Time to celebrate! I am done highschool..... almost. I am done the majority of my courses, the two real time-consuming ones, psychology and comparative civilizations. It is all I have been working on for the past month, and for the past week, it has consumed all of my time. I still have math, but I only have to focus on that a couple hours every-other-day, so no big deal. I am just super stoked to have intellectual freedom again and not to have to meet any PLOs with my research. I can get into life again and pursue my goals now that this speedbump is behind me.. almost :P
I now have time to study things I love, do art all the time, and generally be successful. Since I am not working right now, I also have time to volunteer more (well looking for some sort of employment). Not volunteering much this year has been weird, I really love it. It is a great way to meet people and do something productive for the community. I also am stoked to volunteer for my own Cedarvillian community and give back to my awesome friends and family that have supported me well I have been doing school full time the past month and a bit. I really did finish the majority of these two courses within a two month period. Persistence pays off though, and finishing has been such a relief!
The only thing in my way to graduating now is, sigh, math. I really don't mind math. I would not say it makes any sense to me, and I have no natural knack for the subject. It frustrates me to the point of tears sometimes. However it is satisfying when I understand it for those brief moments. Usually when I think I understand what I am doing I get it wrong though >.< oh well, it is a challenge. If I keep at it I will be done math in no time, by january hopefully. Just in time to study gardening and plan my garden and order seeds! I also will be taking a herbalism course right after I finish highschool, and will be sure to share what I learn with everyone!
Best part, is I have tons of material from my highschool courses to re-work into steemit material. Although there seems to be a lack of interest in ancient history on here, it is still my favorite subject so I will keep posting, along with psychology, herbalism, homesteading info, astrology and other interesting topics. I am stoked to steemit! Can't wait to spend my time writing blog posts rather then power points for you guys! Steem on!
