My hometown is Sarnia, Ontario. Which is home of the Bluewater trails also known as Howard Watson Trails.  These trails stretch 16km. All the way through Sarnia to our neighbours in Chamalchie. They are full of nature at every turn. This time of year is very beautiful with everything turning bright and gorgeous. These are the trails I take my hourly walks on daily.  I recently found out something about these trails. They used to be part of the CN until 1967. Then it laid unused until 1982, when a man named Howard Watson came up with the idea to make trails. Pretty cool. I have lived here my whole life and never knew it was an old train track.  These trails run all the way to our beautiful lake and beach as well. A great place to cool off in the summer after a hot walk. I live at the beginning of the trail maybe one day on my quest to a better me I will make it all the way to the beach!  These trails are a piece of home to me. I love walking on these trails. We spend alot of family time on them. My kids and dog love them too. My relaxation spot.
