Hi @skylinebuds,

I think it's always a good idea to remove sections of the plant that will not get enough sunlight to be a good bud site. They just suck energy from your plant can should have gone elsewhere. This also creates airflow which can reduce mold and other plant issues.

Have you considered setting up a screen or trellis? You may be able to train your plant to have a greater number of bud sites this way. And you also get the added bonus of a support system when those bud sites start putting on weight.

Btw, training your plant could also keep the height of your plant down. Not sure if it's an issue where you are, for people to see it from the street.
