Here is an interesting perspective on long term investing. Buying precious metals at the depth of despair in 2000 would have provided higher returns than participating in the growth of the 500 largest businesses over the last 20 years.  What will be the one investment to own for the next 20 years? Most will probably say bitcoin. I'm thinking Uranium has a chance since the world needs cheap, clean and dependable energy.
