According to a study conducted in Maryland, a special illness known as gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy. Its health can have far-reaching effects. Both mother and child are at risk of heart disease and other types of diabetes. Potatoes are eaten with hobby all over the world. Potato is an important part of catering in all the countries. Apart from carbohydrate, there are also nutrients like Vitamin C and Potassium. But compared to green vegetables, there is plenty of starch in it. Its direct connection is to increase the amount of glucose in the blood.
Usually diabetes occurs when the body is unable to make enough insulin according to the requirement. With the help of insulin, cells of the body absorb glucose from the blood. Blood sugar levels increase if insulin is insufficient. So far the relationship between gestational diabetes and eating potato was not investigated. Researchers studied data under the leadership of Quilin Zhang in the National Institute of Health of Maryland. In this data, the health information of one lakh fifteen thousand women was recorded since 1989.

According to the report printed in the British Medical Journal, Zhang and his team studied the statistics of 15,632 women who had become pregnant between 1991 and 2001, and had never before had gestational diabetes. These women were instructed to keep full details of the quantity of potato food before the time of pregnancy. Combining this data with medical records, whether or not they had gestational diabetes then. In keeping with other factors like the history of diabetes in age and family, it was found in the research that diabetes was eaten by those who especially eat fried or roasted potatoes.

Research says, "excessive consumption of potatoes is especially associated with the risk of gestational diabetes." According to doctors, pregnant women should change their dose. Instead of potato, lobi, peas, pulses and green vegetables should be eaten more. It has been advised in the report that if the consumption of potatoes twice a week is replaced by other vegetables or whole grain, then the risk of gestational diabetes can be reduced by 10%. Even though there is a statistical evidence, researchers say that the direct relationship between eating diabetes and eating potatoes can not be established directly.

Some Tips When Diabetes

FATHER'S EATING HABITS AFFECT CHILDREN

Mother's responsibility
If you are pregnant, then eat salty food, do not drink cigarettes, do not drink alcohol. All the restrictions were for mums. No one would tell the father what he should do for his child's health.

Fat food
According to a report published in science magazine Science, the father's ghee-oiled meal reaches the child through semen and negatively affects its metabolism.

Research on mice
Two researchers say that eating too much fat or low protein changes the regulation of certain genes in rats. Another team gave proof of similar effect on humans.

Two group
A team from the Nevada University of America fed a group of male rats to 60 percent for six months and another to 10 percent fat food. Both semen were conceptioned.

Same diet
The children of both groups were given a similar diet. Initially, there is no difference in development. But after 7th week, there was a decrease in glucose tolerance and insulin resistance in children of more fat paternal patients.

The risk of diabetes
These two weaknesses are often considered to be the first stage of diabetes. These weaknesses in the body become more after 15th week. In the research, the differences in father's sperm found differences in RNA.

RNA work
The RNA present in semen transmits protected genetic information in the genotype to the protein factory of the body cells. He also regulates Jean apart from this.

Identification of carbohydrates
A part of RNA keeps track of the eating habits of the father. Due to this information, metabolism has often failed to identify gene sugar or carbohydrate.

Human test
In a test conducted on humans at Copenhagen University recently, obesity genes can be given to the next generation through semen. In this case, genetic differences were found in semen.

Advice for fathers
If you want a healthy child then take care of your diet and exercise right now. And if the father is careful then he can help mothers stay healthy too.
