SMYLE'S THOUGHT: Nothing Last Forever

<p>Today I will be philosophizing on some things on my head. Join me and let's reflect on some things together!</p>
<p>Human beings tend to think they will live forever even when we all know that life is short and death is the end of all men.</p>

<p>Whenever i see the way some people act in certain situations, i wonder and ask what they would do if they were to be God. This reminds me of the popular saying: Thank God, man is not God.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Here in Lagos Nigeria, whenever two people are having misunderstanding, the rate at which they point at themselves and beat their chests in superiority, you wonder if they own that life. There is a thin line between life and death. No man has control over that heart beat.</p>
<p>Often time, I see people touch sand to vow that if they do not do so so so…they should die! I still don’t know that rationale behind it but one thing is clear, these people believe in something somewhere. What they do not know is that there is a force that is superior and more powerful than the power they rely on.</p>
<p>In whatever situation you find yourself, there is always a room for appreciation. You must always be thankful for whatever you have because your present situation is the dream of someone somewhere.</p>
<p>Whether joy or sorrow, it does n’t last forever. Adversity is part of life. Your ability to believe in the Supreme Being and trust that whatever you do, with His help, you will prosper determines how short you will experience temptation and adversity.</p>
<p>If you are making it right now, it is not by your own doing. Many people have tried what you tried but did not succeed. In fact, some do more than you are doing presently but nothing to show for it. It is not by might but by His grace. Why not see it as an opportunity to give back to the society or help someone out there.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you have 10$, you can actually put a smile to someone’s face by giving the person 5$. Remember the popular saying: givers never lack.</p>
<p>You might be beautiful and think you have the world at your feet. But remember aging is the end of all beauty. No matter the doctor you hire to take good care of you, your beauty will fade away one day.</p>
<p>If it is money, you cannot have it till eternity. You will die one day and leave it here for your children to spend. If it is cloths, they will turn to rags one day. Cars? They will equally spoil one day or become old fashion.&nbsp;</p>
<p>There is nothing in this world that last forever! Be it wealth, health, life, pains, joy, etc. There is time for everything. Do not live life like you own it. We all borrow this life because we do not own it. The owner may take it any moment. So stop saying it is your life because it never was!</p>
