As far as steemit.com goes, we are in the process of creating a UI for the new notifications service/system we have built. It's going to be integrated into condenser in the next month or two. It's really spiffy, including things like email or sms or mobile push notifications for savings withdrawals, power downs, key/password changes, et c. This is a neat feature that we will consider implementing once we ship the first version.
