Hi fellow steemians, I am asking you to stop using the term whales, it is really revolting. I believe it comes from the movie the wolf of Wallstreet(which I really liked), however in the movie it was used for identifying rich ppl from which steal money. I believe that the steemit community should be about honesty, integrity, freedom of speech and many other positive qualities, not about ass licking, trying to cheat someone to like you, steal his trust for your own interest. This negative and primitive values are the cause of the world we live in and if our thoughts become our words, our words will become our actions. I could not agree more. You are my kind of man. Now, that steemit is still young and growing, we can help shape it in a way that it might become a platform for free speech. For true free speech. Honestly, I am fairly new on steemit. I did a bit of research and had to find out, that there is a truly strange world out there which I cannot understand yet. There seems to be a clique of people who are making a ton of money. Maybe in that sense the term "whale" is appropriate for the time being. I don't know. But maybe we can carve out a niche on steemit where other values are honored...
