Confused by calculating STEEM and SBD prices? Use SteemValue - STEEM/SBD <--> USD/EUR/CNY/BTC/LTC
Now that [SBD is no longer $1](https://steemit.com/witness-category/@someguy123/sbd-is-no-longer-usd1-what-do-we-do-witness-discussion), sadly you need to do a little bit of math when sending SBD to others. STEEM is also highly fluctuating lately, so it's equally frustrating trying to send STEEM to somebody.

Trying to figure that out by hand via an exchange like Poloniex is a pain. **But there's a better way!**

[STEEM Value](https://value.steem.network) is a website that allows you to easily convert between SBD, STEEM, and GOLOS, to currencies such as USD, EUR, BTC, and LTC. **Much easier** than trying to do the math on SBD/BTC and BTC/USD :)

The service has been around for a while, but it's gained a much bigger need now that SBD is fluctuating so much. I often see people frustrated trying to figure out how much SBD or STEEM to send me when I bill them for something, so it seems clear that many still don't know about this service.

currently I use [Steem Ticker](http://www.steemdollar.com/steem.php) and [Steem Dollar Ticker](http://www.steemdollar.com) to determine the current value of Steem and Steem dollars in USD..but  your recommendation seems both more convenient and more versatile.

STEEM = STEEM POWER

The only difference is the STEEM Power takes 3 months (paid out once per week) to power down completely.

But the math doesn't quite add up for my account in that case. 

SP+STEEM != EstimatedValue(In USD -displayed on the Steemit.com/@account/transfers)

What am I missing?
