Before I do that my views on this are as follows: there's a difference between being a pedophile and a pedosexual (child abuser), where the first group has a *preference* to having sex with kids (often something you're born with unfortunately), and the second also actually *does the deed* (there's no excuse). 

I really want the second group to be punished hard and the first group to get therapy so they never become the second group. There's no way we can 'heal' a pedophile but we can teach people how to constrain themselves. (Most of them are disgusted with themselves too.)

Since I never think in black and white I hope we can all at least try to understand this difference - and even feel compassion for the pedo*phile* that feels disgusted with him/herself for feel attracted to something they know they can't ever get - and even don't WANT to get because it's so wrong.

Where it's the same as being queer: it's a sexual preference which can't be helped and you're born with and can't unlearn. Where it's also-fucking-lutely not the same: it will *never* be acceptable to have sex with a kid, can't even call it sex as there is no legal consent so basically it's always rape. So no pedo pride in the future. 

In the meanwhile it's legal in many US states and other countries to get married as an underaged kid - no booze before 21 years old, acting like smoking cannabis is the worst crime in the world, but marry our kids into pedosexual marriages? Yeah, why not.
