It has been a little longer than usual since my last Actifit Report. I have been quite busy with my recent post on game theory. I have still managed to remain reasonably active over this period. I have managed to go out most days. I tried out my new boots down by the lake. They kept my feet warm and dry but they rubbed a little, which is often the case with new footwear. I think I will need to wear 2 pairs of socks while I wear in these boots.

I started another Buying and Selling Game, which closed about a day ago. I think I have 4 entries for this contest, which is a little disappointing. It is still hard to attract people even though I have raised the prize to 30 Hive and all entries received a 60% upvote from my account that has over 140,000 Hive Power. In a couple of days, I will post the results video and blog. Next month, I will have another Buying and Selling Game Contest. This contest will be a little different as I am planning to make a few changes for Christmas.

In my other post, I wrote about mixed equilibrium. Mixed equilibrium is an area in game theory that has interested me for over 15 years. I have never been content with the outcomes reached using Nash mixed equilibrium. It felt incomplete and inconsistent with real world repeatable games. Therefore, I determined an alternative approach to calculating mixed equilibrium. This approach enables higher payouts for both players and in some cases leads to stable permanent equilibriums for some types of games.

## The Bulls are running

Many of you would have noticed that Bitcoin and a few other coins are starting to surge. This is a very positive sign for cryptocurrency as a whole. Back in 2017 when Bitcoin climbed rapidly, it brought many of the other altcoins with it. Steem went from under $1 to over $8 in a very short time. Let us hope that Hive can experience a similar jump at some point during this Bull Run. It would be great if Hive can reach $1 before the Bears return.
