I happened to be almost in winter ( in November, at the close of one of the seasons) on the Volga river when the air temperature is minus 8 and the strongest snowfalls. Fishing in itself is challenging. And not always grateful in terms of catch. But our boat was then rented on the base, and we did not go through all the ordeal on its descent into the water and pulling out of the water after fishing. The guys did a good job. Managed everything perfectly and catch fish. And we were pleased with a good video story. Would I let our boat down now, even for a good fishing trip? Rather no than Yes, to be honest.
