[Poem] the hanged man

I’ve seen a hanged man from a tree, 
dangling as the wind was blowing, 
with creepy eyes, he smiled to me, 
as was walking by. 

There was a card, pinned to his chest, 
a card where you could read, 
“This is the place I choose to rest, 
this is the place where I wanna be.”

For a moment I stood there
and looked at the hanged man, 
wondering why he smiled, 
and what the message meant…

I moved on, taking my bag, 
going down the road I walked, 
searching for the place I wanna be, 
a place where I could rest.
