This innovative platform will enable the exchange of incentives between the content creators and the consumers for their mutual benefit. The economic model of this platform is designed in such a way that the publishers will be able to promote their content by offering consumption incentives direct to the consumers and the consumers will be able to pay for their preferred gated content. The consumers will also find it easy to reward the content creators and publishers of their choice through tokens.

# The Main Idea

The main idea of Media Protocol is that the audience or the consumers play a major role in the creation of a content and therefore the consumers’ input or participation is of utmost importance and to engage the consumers there should be a mechanism to incentivize their engagement. The traditional economic model has no such provision and therefore it is not possible to compensate the audience for their valuable engagement. 

Media Protocol has created a system in which the tokens can flow two-way, from publisher to the audience directly and vice versa without involving any intermediary. This platform also allows the payment for gated content and a tipping facility is also available. It further enables the promoters to reward the content creators.
