<p>The Garone river flows through the city , and young people gather there on warm afternoons to enjoy the sunset when the weather allows them , which happens very often since  the city is quite close to Spain and shares its sunny skies</p>

<p>In a country like France , known for its high live quality standards , Tolosa  is considered to be one of the best cities to live  </p>
<p>Many people from other areas in France are moving south here and it's population has been increasing steadily in the last decades to become the 3rd most populated city </p>

This city is proud of its industrial past , was very important in the early times of the airplanes at the beginning of XX century , today is one the main  bases for AIRBUS company

<p>Like in most of french cities , cycling is very popular </p>

<p>It has been historically  a  city with a strong left-political influence , Jean Jaurès , a French Socialist leader on the early  XX century spent in Toulouse some of his most productive years   </p>
<p>Also , the city received many of the spanish republicans who had to leave the country in 1939</p>

Toulouse, la ville rose (the pink city). The name is coming from the color of the bricks of the old buildings, downtown.
