# <center>Introduction</center>

SteemAlive community probably takes top spot in Stemm Promotion in Nigeria. Over the course of 1 year, our various promotional campaigns have produced and continue to produce great results. We have recruited, mentored and supported individuals that went ahead to become very valuable to the Steem platform. We can boast of Country CR's like @ngoenyi and @whitestallion, Professors like @fredquantum and @awesononso, and a host of many others we cannot mention here. However, our efforts to promote steemit is down to indivivduals that have taken Steem Promotion as priority. So recently, we began to think of a way to recognize individual efforts of these promoters and to reward them. That is what led to the birth of **SteemAlive Promoters Monthly Awards (SteProMA)**. Lets learn more about this project

# <center>What is SteProMA</center>
**SteProMA** is just a way of saying **"Thank You!!"** to individuals that worked hard to promote Steemit in our community. We want to use the project to encourage hardwork as regards Steem Promotion. When members of a team do well and are rewarded, they tend to do more. Creating a reward system for active and exceptional promoters will encourage them and other observers to work even harder, thereby facilitating productivity among our ranks. We hope to see a bigger number of our community members take up Steem Promotion as life career.

# <center> SteProMA - How it works</center>

We have somethings in mind as regards how this project will run. Consider what we want to do with SteProMA:

**1. Frequency:** SteProMA will be a monthly project. So its organization will start within the last week of the month. We will call for promoters to make a nomination post and our admin will go through the entries to access their work.

**2. Reward category:** There will be 3 categories of awards under SteProMA. We will have the following categories: 
* **Outstanding Promoter:** This is the best promoter for the month.
* **Great Promoter:** This is the Second best promoter for the month.
* **Good Promoter:** This is the third best promoter for the month.

* **3. The Rewards:** Our admin will determine the best prizes to give the winners. It will include any or all of the following Steem, Steem Power Delegation, Physical Gifts, award plaques, etc. We will also recommend their nomination post to @steemitblog for support in form of votes.

* **4. When to Start:** This Project has kicked off with immediate effect. We will have the first SteProMa awards at the end of September 2021.

# <center> SteProMA - Criteria for Selecting Monthly winners</center>
We will carefully look into the following before selecting the top 3 SteProMA winners for each month

**1. Promotion Activity:** This is the most important. We will count the number of valid promotional reports by each nominee. This will include Road Show participation and personal or team promotional activities organized independently. For example, organizing presentations for groups such as age grades, market unions, and other associations. **These promotional activities must be done in Community branded T-shirts. 

**2. Recruitment:** We will count the number of new users signed up by the promoter.

**3. Retaining recruits:** We will also count the number of recruits that continued to actively make posts till date. We will especially rate promoters higher whose recruits progressed and joined Steemit Projects like the Crypto Academy. We will also rate promoters higher if their recruits did many achievement posts within the month.

**4. Greeting Newcomers:** We want promoters to welcome new people recruited by them and others through making useful comments in their introduction posts. We will create Discord Server for Achievement 1 Posts of new people recruited by our team. It will be easy for intending award winners to always go there, open the links and drop a welcome message. **We wish to announce that we will promptly announce new users in our Telegram group everyday between 5.45am and 6am.**

# <center> SteProMA - the guidelines</center>

**1. Promoters must be verified and active members of SteemALive community**
**2. Only promotional activity done with the community approved T-shirts and other branded material would be considered**
**3. Promoters are disqualified if they are found using community branded gear such as fliers, T-shirts or banner templates to publish promotional posts in another community**
**4. Promoters must ensure that their recruits join our community curation trail.**

# <center>Conclusion</center>
We really hope to drive up more promotional activity through SteProMA each month. We are already indebted to individuals that have continued to take promotion serious. Right now, more than 40 members of our community are simultaneously doing the Steem Road Show in Aba, Uyo, Nasarawa and Umuahia. We thank all these promoters and cant wait to reward them through this project. Thank you all our members and the Steemit team for supporting our efforts and projects.
