The last decade China has been on a frenzy to import gold, physical gold and not the fake paper gold assets that set the price in the futures market. Are they on a path to create a goldbacking? And will it be a paper currency with a golden backbone or a digital currency pegged to gold?

If it was up to me I would suggest to the chinese leaders to create a digital blockchained currency with a limited amount of minable tokens, and backed by gold or gold and silver. It would create a currency that can last for centuries, compared to the fiat currrencies that ultimately always return to their intrinsic value wich is a big fat zero: 0!

With the birth of NEO, aka, the Chinese Bitcoin, I believe that eventually some smart Chinese politician will figure it out and come up with excact that longterm monetary strategy. It would be a 500 year plan instead of the short term plans often used by the typical western empires. 

The future will be bright when that happens: fair money! No more warfare, sponsored by continuous money printing!
