Awesome, I was able to transfer some from my Poloniex account. Yes, I was expecting to be able to purchase it using my debit card, good to know that isn't a possibility. I have a lot to learn.

You wrote, "from my debit card" That has been the rub since inception. - @charlieshrem went to jail for his bitinstant service --> changing paper rectangles to bitcoin. - Coindesk has been under attack for the same thing. The key is to get out of paper money altogether. If the U.S. Government really has a problem with me using my U.S. currency to buy digital currency, then I see dollars as very limited in their utility. I responded by completely stopping all use of dollars in my life. I pay everything with bitcoin or other crypto. The small amount of cash that I do use comes from face to face **btc --> paper** transactions.

Wow! I had no idea. I mined Bitcoin several years ago and forgot all about it. I just heard it mentioned on the news. I looked up my account and found it has quite a value now. I spent the day reading about Bitcoin and later Steem, but I have a LOT to learn. I had no idea.

Yes, this run up seems to be on the backs of the Venezuelans, though Greece is up for another bailout. I am now looking to buy a house cash, if it keeps going before I find one, I may get two!!! This is my third time north of $1000
