Hello fellow game enthusiasts yesterday I made a slighlty informative arena diaries from my recent arena runs , therefore I decided make an extensive guide about some of the critical parts in Arena Runs , like curve , card picking , classes and synergies. If you are a new or pro hearthstone player I still think you will learn a lot if you are not an arena player.

#### Choosing your Champion

Well this is probably easier than grinding 150 gold to enter the arena  , however if you want to play arena and get your gold back , even this choosing phase is quite important , because like in every game there is a meta and some of current champions are stronger than the others in different situations , therefore choosing the top tier arena heroes might increase your chance in order to get more wins , however eventhough hunter is quite weak I really enjoy to play hunter in the arena so you guys might want to play the class you mastered too and it has a definetely positive affect , However eventhough most of the patches change **Paladin** , **Mage** , **Druid** are always top tier arena heroes picking these will increase your chances.

#### Forming Your Deck and Picking Top Tier Cards

Well there are definetely quite decent websites to show cards tier , you can enter one of them and check class tier synergies according to their tier points , however I will explain the basics of card choosing without checking the numbers sometimes numbers can't understand the synergy of the card in your deck. Ofcourse choosing this way will require a lot of playtime in order to see the board like I do but there are still easy ways . Rule number one is always check base stats and mana , this is the main criteria for picking cards because arenas are mostly slow based matchups  , therefore if you choose the highstat mana efficient minion you are most likely going to win it . Be careful to your Curve since you can't choose exact micro  clear or AoE spells in arena you will need lower drops mid range drops and , high drops in arena in order to compete with your opponent. The last one is always try to pick most efficient synergy cards but there is a trick to this , don't try to build your deck around one synergy because since arena cards are completely random you won't be able to build the ultimate deck in most of the time and you will end up with a weak medioker deck.

#### Arena Playstyle and Mentality

Arena playstyle is the most important thing you need to learn if you want to grind 12 wins through arena , always know what your deck can do and what are your kill conditions and limit also you need to think what others can do and play around. Since you don't know your opponents deck like you do in most of the time in constructed games , you need to always think possibilities what classes can do and play according to that. As an instance if you are a hunter your win condition is your hero power most of the time , therefore you need to push early damage and even if you lose tempo in the middle game and you will in most of the time it won't be a problem. Paladins can buff their minions therefore you need to clear. It is all about knowing what you do and what your opponents can do , thefore you need some basic knowledge about the game. Always make value trades and be careful about your curve and try to gain as much as you can from your trades because these are the moves that will decide whether you will lose or not.
