Well if you are a everyday player , you will notice that in most of the game every new champion starts as a overpowered champion to make kids to steal their credit card and buy the champion and destroy people. Mooooooooooom! Can I buy thorn ? Yes son it is a overpowered champion. It is a simple marketing technique in these free to play games. Thorn is one of the results of that tactics. It is an amazing strong bruiser champ with lots of deffensive and crowd control abilities and also tons of sustain. Wait What ? So he got it all interesting.

Let me give you an example you started the game but you have no idea what to play and you don't want to die easy and support your teammates and while you are doing those you want to be in the top damage with a most tanky bruiser in the game ? 1200 damage per round  while **Jade** doing 800 well you just found your champion. Thorn is an annoying champion that sticks to heroes and deal amazing damage to them also with their thorns the enemies who hit him will damage themselves too and I got good news for you guys , it is easy to play.

This is a quite strike auto-attack and it is one of your main pressure skills because you don't have burst in thorn you just have sustain damage , every autoattack scales your autoattack and if you land the 3rd one it heals you. How overpowered is this ?

This is one of your damage push skills and your poke mechanism from long range and it has a healing affect too.

Burrow makes you untargatable and you move underground and chase your enemy  it is a great gapcloser and it deals fair amount of damage

Evil clutch is a decent gap closer and damage pressure to you just pull an enemy next to you and disrupt its position.

It is both defensive and offensive skill it is pretty annoying if you catch your opponent it inflicts snare.

When you are playing **Thorn** you are definetely going to need your energy consuming skills because it makes your gameplay smoother and it increases your sustain like you don't have sustain basicly you can't die with this champion

Eventhough I find one of these skills useless , it is still good but you won't be using them however first one inflicts thorn affect and increases your damage output and it has a synergy with your battlerites therefore it is more and more and more sustain.

His ultimate is quite strong but you need to wait others to waste their escape skills , best part about is ulti is it breaks the formation of compositions and it breaks the map in to too and also the  thorns you created deals damage over time and it blocks projectiles.

These Battlerite chooses increases **Thorns** Survivability , Damage increase and mostly utility and mobility you can land your gap closer skills from longer range and catch enemies with high kiting potential and push damage in the short amount of time.

- Lots of support ability and sustain and improves gameplay

- Damage and sustain increase tremendously.

First of all eventhough the AoE of your ulti is quite wide ,  you should always aim multiple targets when you are using it and block one side of the map and let the other team lose the healing of support therefore they need to change position and use their escape skills , Don't overextend it is like one of the basic rules for every champion but eventhough thorn got only 1 skill to move around his amazing HpS abiltiies makes him quite sturdy so you won't die easily when it is in cooldown and you can easily move in an out and incapacitate your enemies.

Thorn doesn’t really play defensive. If you’re low on health, stay at range and throw **Leeching Thorns** and **Entangling Roots** until you heal back up. These are the main skills where you get most of your self sustain and heal yourself therefore push push push.

It is a fairly easy and overpowered champion that definetely requires a nerf in the following patches but if you don't like to die and be annoying in games this is your champion. Hope this guide will be helpfull
