LOL “cat head” !!! 
That’s really funny to me. I don’t think my brain has ever put those two words together before. Sounds like a person that knows a lot about cats... like a “cat lady” except without the pet hoarding insinuation. (I might be a cat head 😬.)

Yeah a wing! I wasn’t sure how to interpret that part. Good call!

Chinese doesn’t have a single character for an owl? A single sound? I’m gonna look it up... I found *māotóuyīng* and that looks like what you typed. They also have *Chī* and *Xiū* for the word owl. I found those words on www.wordhippo.com and they have a little gray bars to show the percentage of use. Those last two are 3% and 1%. * māotóuyīng* has a bar indicating 92% use. Probably because it’s more fun to say “cat head eagle.” 😊 

If I had to speak Chinese in an emergency, I would be mistaken for a noisy mime. 
“Hoo, hoo, hoo.” 
“Hooty hoo?” 😳
